Trumps health care bill

Trumps Healthcare Bill
Trump announced today a plan to reduce healthcare costs (great!). He seemed to take aim at taking money out of the hands of insurance companies. Do you think this will mean more layoff at UHG/Optum?

UHC is not a part of the ACA (AKA:Obamacare) anyway.

Third party payer problem is real. He's not wrong to want to give individuals more control, cut out insurance companies in the middle between patients and care providers, etc.

The exact implementation is more questionable, but let's be real... insurance is a scam, especially when the system comes to a point where people are sort of forced into buying it.

TRU-OLL is a joke, his plan is a joke, just like the rest of them up on the hill. They're overpaid for doing absolutely nothing except increasing their wealth and the wealth of the wealthy.

When the FU-K is a he going to lower prescription prices? That fu--ing 15-22% coinsurance is sc--wing people over BAD. Humana isn't charging coinsurances percentages, everyone is going to flock to them.

This is actually a gold mine for UHG. The changes would end the pools that sustain the markets. The unhealthy would use their $500 in HSA money in a day and then go in afterwards and not pay the $400,000 a year in visits. The healthy won't pay for insurance at all.

Thereafter the providers enter bankruptcy and UHG has Optum Health buy every one of them up for pennies on the dollar of their pre-Trumpcare value.

This is the most obvious outcome. You have to be a middle or high school student to be naive enough to miss it.

Trump Healthcare plan is like recycled old idea no one will even read bill, it a SCAM.
So yes—this is the recycled Republican approach:
• Frame it as “choice” and “freedom”….
• Reduce collective risk pooling
• Shift costs from the system onto individuals least able to absorb them
• Preserve or increase advantages for wealthier, healthier populations
Death, Bankruptcy and destruction for working Americans .
on paper Republicans are saying “we’ll give people money to buy healthcare,” but in reality it doesn’t work the way it’s sold—so it feels like a fantasy pitch, not a serious solution…..

Believe IT IS TRUMP SCAMMING Americans to get a midterm votes.

Who cares. Layoffs will happen regardless.

The plan calls for more HDHPs and less rules around them. A few bucks in an HSA from government. UHG and its peers can offer both and come off just fine.
