Thread regarding Coupa Software layoffs

Layoffs Jan 14, 2026

Another surprise layoff that impacted the Support organization in the US and EMEA.
Almost all (if not all) of the Technical Support Specialist/Technical Support Agents got axed.
Technical Support Engineers got impacted in every vertical except Platform.
Each team is now down many members (my team down 4) and we are scrambling and wondering how to handle the excess workload and power apps that got their whole team cut.

So much for the promised "better communication" from leadership last year. What a joke.

CEO posted message of "cultivating belonging" yesterday. In background, in EMEA, a support person was laid off. Came know because they cannot be contacted

Not really a surprise though right..they are doing in EMEA what they have already done (and continue to do) in the US
let this be a warning that you are not safe if you have a counter part in a lower cost center region
the probe every year that employees are expendable and we are just a number on paper

@OP my whole team got wiped out today.

It’s sad to look back and see the signs.

I agree they didn’t provide better communication as promised.

I heard the job market is tough out there too. Good luck out there everyone!
