Delighting customers means providing them the service they pay for! Cutting costs is not delighting anyone. Its so embarrassing to try to answer friends and family when they ask what is going on with Verizon. We need our network people!

I agree. I was one of those long term experienced Engineers..A few good ones left, but they will soon grow tired of this nonsense.
No the older knowledgeable and skilled ones were RIF or took bye out previously

No they were not outsourced. They just laid off a bunch of engineers and left all the work to the ones left behind
Nothing that requires technical expertise has been outsourced to India, as there is no technical expertise there, only cheap labor.
Is engineering all outsourced to India?
