Thread regarding Ford layoffs

Here’s my proposal for the future: instead of hurling insults at each other, let’s have direct conversations at work. These conversations should be non-combative, respectful, calm-headed, honest, and open. We all need to return to a time when it’s acceptable to express our thoughts and feelings to each other face to face. I believe most people are decent individuals who occasionally get emotional about challenging issues, and that’s perfectly fine. Trust yourself and trust others; things will be okay. Where are we as a society if we can’t have open dialogues anymore? I’m not a fan of the politics within and outside the company, but if we can’t engage in conversation about important matters to at least understand what the other person is saying, what’s the point? I hope this person is doing well and is instead being coached on effective communication techniques as opposed to punitive measures being taken.

It feels like there's a cycle of hate/love/hate, some have been open to real discussion if you haven't noticed, not looking for anything other than to just end the awkwardness, it's really uncomfortable.

His gofundme has over half a million in donations now. I bet other plant workers are kicking themselves for just mumbling their insults under their breath.

Tell ya what, if I were victimized by a hoax and I had the proof to exonerate myself, I wouldn't waste time getting it out there, free and clear for all to see.

@OP why not? They keep promoting and giving large bonuses to people that make stupid decisions. ZERO accountability for these ideas.... But if a lower rank GSR does something they go NUCLEAR..
Instead these people should be nominated for the Darwin award...
