I missed the package. Wanted to see if I could get one as I am leaving anyway just like rest of us.
Is there a trick or bkm to get package as I see that as free money. What not take some as we all will leave anyway.

Well, let’s think about it. It’s GF, does it ever get better at GF? I’d guess, their severance will get worse..
If they don’t trigger WARN again in the next one it will likely be less than three months pay and two weeks severance per year they gave is super generous and they can cut that down to one if they really want to cut costs . They can also change vacation to permissive leave and then not pay out vacation
I think the next layoffs will be targeted offerings for voluntary separations. Mostly older & higher paid folks. Chances are if you were laid off on this round, than your sitting in the cheap seats. I just walked away with over 50k in severance. I’ll be working within a month. GF hooked me up, so can’t complain.
Will suggest to target becoming director and vp while you are in GF as that is way easier comparatively. You just need to master boot licking and a-s licking. I am saying it us easier because we can see role models everywhere around us in GF now. They will be in majority as talent drain continues.
