I remember when HPE announced they were going to buy Juniper and people here were screaming they'd destroy Cisco in a year. Cisco's profit margin now of 17.90% is 100X HPE's 0.17%. You might want to look elsewhere for meaningful advice.
i always find these posts weird. like, it's not just up to YOU where you go. you'll go anywhere that will take you in a post-cisco world. your skills probably arent as in demand as you'd like to think they are.
If you think Cisco is a dinosaur, then I would think HPE would be more so.
Aruba, the best management in town, former Cisco. HPE is a close second in management quality but have the brightest engineers in the valley. Tough decision.
