Thread regarding General Atomics layoffs

Should we worry about layoffs?

It's been very quiet on that front lately, should I take that as a good sign?

In 2020 massive layoffs occurred at GA. The pending layoffs were in countless defense publications and it was all over the news that GA lost its most profitable contract and people at GA were still asking “Do you think layoffs are coming?”
The writing can be on the wall! Newspapers can write about it 9 months before it happens an GA employees still won’t get the hint! No use in trying to explain this

36 software developers from MS were re-assigned in July to AS because their projects were "temporarily" on hold, but supposed to resume in January. That's like a 6-month warning to go find a new job.

GA never lays offs! Or else why would people stay being underpaid so much compared to industry standards? Do you think only d-mb lazy people work at GA?

I'm just worried something unexpected will be announced and none of us will be prepared for it.
