The pilot in command of the Alaska Airlines flight that experienced a mid-air blowout two years ago is now suing the aircraft manufacturer, alleging the company “attempted to shift blame” and "intentionally and falsely” claiming the crew made mistakes during the incident.

A June 24, 2025 release from the NTSB said the “probable cause” of the incident was Boeing’s failure to “provide adequate training, guidance and oversight,” to its factory workers. The department also claimed the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) was ineffective in ensuring Boeing addressed “repetitive and systemic” nonconformance issues related to its parts removal process.

Yes, Boeing did attempted to shift blame onto the pilot,
Captain Brandon Fisher, by suggesting that the incident was due
to improper maintenance or misuse by others,
Despite The National Transportation Safety Board's Findings
Pointing to systemic failures in Boeing's manufacturing process:
Fisher's lawsuit claims this defamation caused him significant emotional distress.

Sadly you cannot make this up, it happened.
Proving once again, --- time and time again
Boeing is the Tim Walz of the aviation industry

The fact Boeing had no ethics holding them back from scapegoating this Pilot just shows the public how low Boeing goes including what they pull on employees too.
