Can anyone breakdown the timeline for severance payment?
I was a retail “specialist” who got laid off literally two weeks after starting. I’ve been getting random a-s checks of varying amounts for the last 2 weeks . I have no idea what any of them mean and why I’m not getting a lump sum yet.
Verizon ruined my holiday season. The least they can do is make sure my rent is paid next month.
@as minimum severance payout is 4 weeks. So, it'll cover a month or two of rent.
You can view your paystubs at workhistory.verizon.com. My severance pay is on there so it should come Friday
Severance should hit this Friday. I was able to view it in portal today.

I totally agree with the dude/dudette that posted that the OP comes off as totally entitled. 👍
In actuality the advice given to the OP not expect too much for nothing (i.e., unearned severance for 2X weeks) was spot on! Coddling people like is apparently your first feminine instinct doesn't help anybody grow up!

They will respond back with a ticket number, and then they will respond back with hopefully an answer to your question!

Hate to say it but you sound like an "entitled brat!" Two weeks service time with Verizon and you're looking for a big payout??
It's too bad you can't stay on with the company, but that's life! You definitely shouldn't be renting an apartment if you're live that close to the edge with no savings.

I emailed the severance email but don’t know how to get in touch with the hr help desk. Sorry for sounding dim. It’s all new to me.
