@mn Nothing concrete yet, but following today’s meeting layoffs are highly likely. No further details.

Any information about the Housecalls program and Nurse Practitioner jobs?

@a5 Notification is when they let you know you are being let go and the date of your last day is the term date. Often times they want you to transition your work.

@kd are you able to share divisions affected that you know of?

@jk not fake. This exact list of dates was produced in my division also.

@ap go on Sparq and type in “severance”and there’s a grid. It’s based on your grade plus years of service.

Does anyone have any info on how many nurse case managers will be let go?

@jk Let's see how in the know you are. How many folks were notified of RIFs in November - by group/department/unit?

@jk it’s true. My boss shared the actual slide they presented in the meeting the day before. Believe what you want, but it’s happening.

@h3 it’s true. My boss shared this information with their direct reports to give us a heads up. Our team isn’t being impacted but teams that work with us will be. That was all the information we were given. What they said was that their leadership said cuts would be made the first part of 2026, then we would enter in a period of “stabilization” and 2027 was projected as a year of growth again.

@dv I heard they give the meeting invites the same day? Are they sending out meeting invites ahead of time now?

I’m surprised this doesn’t have even more comments. This is scary, but not surprising. Hard to stay motivated when you feel like there is zero job security anymore.

I am so sorry for anyone getting laid off. It’s hard to focus on the day when all you hear is all this talk about layoffs. I’m nervous for tomorrow 1/ 8 and going forward. It seems like no department is safe. i’ve never worked for a company before that has trimmed so far down to the bone it doesn’t bleed anymore.

And I'm sure this is just the half year calendar.

@bw yes. Have never seen only a 15 minute meeting scheduled before a teams meeting.

@ah we've been told about a companywide update meeting first that will occur before our team meeting. Is this what you are referring to? No one so far has received separate/specific/individual invites I don't think.

From what I have seen in my 10 months here, you can add every single Thursday to that list beyond the few listed.

@am any ideas if we are getting laid off? I’d like to think we’re getting bonuses but highly doubt it considering they are cutting people and reduced the 401k match…

@ap The severance depends on your tenure. Search Sparq, and you'll find a pdf which shows you how many weeks you'd get depending on your tenure.

How many weeks of severance is typically offered? I haven't been close to anyone that's been laid off over the past 10 years so wondering what is offered to those getting the hammer.

@a2 the minions go to these meeting? Administrative assistants probably. The most important people at the company. You don’t think upper leadership does any work. Most of you don’t even know what you’re doing.

@a5 essentially the company gives you 2 weeks notice that you’re being laid off. They tell you about it on the notification date, and you have to leave that day, but your last day of employment is 2 weeks later. Your severance doesn’t begin until after the term date, so effectively your severance is 2 weeks longer than what they tell you it is

What’s the diff between notification and term dates?

by

Post ID: @a5+1ke9wcgvt

@OP who attends these meetings, seems upper management is always left out of the loop regarding layoffs
