Somebody legitimately wrote this paragraph and thought, "Yeah this makes total sense" and clicked send to the entire company. I get from this that mass layoffs will be coming before the 1/14 meeting (in particular the last line), but who knows.

about doing more with less, but rather about doing better with purpose."

@1dv what is your problem? Sales will never get paid what they have earned. No need to hold on to false hope here you don’t even get paid the median base salary of an AE in your town. Google it. We will wait.

Well, where are the mass layoffs you predicted? I suspect the reason is they want corporate slaves so the company doesn't have to pay commissions on sales.

Changing the slogan from “Power of One” to “Transform as One”. Well now, they will certainly make all the difference in the world! The customers are eagerly printing out purchase orders as we speak!

This is par for the course. Every year it’s “hey we came up with a new slogan that will invigorate and inspire our employees”.

Dude, just stop and resign already, we’ve had enough, it’s beyond tiresome.

Read between the lines: ‘Transform as ONE’ does not mean everyone. It doesn’t means American workers.
Canon’s Kobayashi has demonstrated year after year that the organization can operate without U.S. employees—while American jobs continue to be eliminated and Japanese roles remain untouched and they continue to be promoted. These visas used to be for 4-5 years, not they are extending.
It’s difficult to understand how the New York State Department of Labor does not maintain a permanent presence at this organization.

I'm hearing Burlington is gong to get hit with layoff. No WARN notice?
