Thread regarding Thomson Reuters layoffs

I'm going to be optimistic this year

I'm going to believe that we'll be spared layoffs at least for the first quarter of the year. It's better than being convinced otherwise and stressing over it nonstop. They'll most likely prove me wrong, but you never know. A little positivity never ki-led anybody.

It's coming. We've been instructed to stack rank and then offer up the weakest link.

Was told they changed up the layoffs because people knew they were coming.

If you are concerned, you should be looking elsewhere. Period, end of story.

It doesn’t matter what we believe, stock price, new products, new revenue, the financials, that is what matters. If the financial indicators don’t improve then more drastic changes will be implemented.
