Does AI know that untalented analysts are closing out multiple manual alerts without reviewing them. So anti regulatory. Then, remediation efforts take place to clean it all up. Oh. I just love all this. Let’s not tell managers
@eh thanks for that, its odd bc they have been a hiring a bunch in Financial Crimes. They make 0 sense. This year alone they hired around 10 VPs .. in AML ops it appears it may be more heavily impacted per some folks. Hopefully they clean house with all the management in both areas which is terriblw
@dv idk how bad but real bad, management has already been told not to mention to your teams luckily my management was honest about it. If your in financial Crimes your at risk, it's why Michael Steinback is leaving in march.
What teams /areas are projected to be impacted ?
Yes. AI has had great success and fewer human analysts are needed. February is the rollout in TPA.
A Texas HQ is having major layoffs confirmed for March, an entire department is being offshored. I can't say exactly without giving too much but it's AML related also so expect something in March.
