The odds of finding another job anytime soon are very low. Rationally, I should want to hold on to this one, no matter how bad it is. But the toxicity and manipulation, being overworked and underappreciated, the constant exhaustion, and having so little ability to make decisions that actually benefit clients have pushed rational thinking out of the picture. I just can’t keep doing this job if I want to be even remotely good to myself.

They have engineers working on re--rded sh-t instead of needed enhancements to generate revenue.
I got the layoff notice in December. I would not wish it on anyone as unemployment is at a 4 year high. At the same time it was a relief, like leaving any abusive relationship.
It’s not AI, it’s the India caste system you’re rejecting. Read about it and things might make more sense.
Same here....my IT vertical has been eaten alive by AI and offshoring....I'm done
I don't want to get laid off, but if I do, I think I'll be using it to switch careers. It won't be easy, but the direction IT is going these days, I'm not a fan.
