Is this going to be an interesting year as it relates to Avis Budget layoffs? Any chatter, news or rumors?

I am aware of a number of layoffs in the uk in the past week, the business overall is definitely in trouble and confidence has been lost with board decisions.
The whole of Europe has been told to make reductions and a ‘spreadsheet’ has been circulated I imagine with numbers they need to hit.
ABG in Virginia Beach did some layoffs a few days ago, they seem to do this every 5 years, and people that's been there for a while are the 1st ones to go. They are going to eventually fall because business is slow and their cars are not in very good shape.
Lots of employees got let got at Headquarters, Virginia Beach, and Budapest. They want to outsource jobs to Conduent. Sc--w all the other folks who get them where they're today. Automation and outsourcing is going to be companies downfall.
Got removed yesterday. I asked if it was a layoff or a termination and they said it was a termination. However, I haven’t received any negative feedback for a long time and in fact was getting positive feedback recently.
This is the biggie that ABG likes to do once every 5 years or so. The guillotine has freed up tons of office space at HQ already and is not over. The old-timers and big boys up top are not even safe. RIP ABG.
It's still on. More people getting removed today.
There was a big round today with high level execs involved.
