Should I decline my svp to Dir promotion due to layoffs ? Heard large # of MDs and Ds are on the chopping block.

Don't. Get D, and then move to other orgs. It gets easy
@hw Yes, happens quite regularly as someone being promoted to C15 does not typically get the D title with the paygrade and is a separate process. What does not happen anymore is a C14 with Director title.
@ed I didn't think C15 SVP roles are still around. That route is long closed. However, C16 Dir role is still there.
Valid concern. Happened a couple of years ago. The D and MD promotions were share in December……and the layoffs occurred in January. I mean…..they probably didn’t even get a month of pay at their new levels.
