I was laid off last week. People doing my work at entry level. Lot of paper tigers. I am concerned these tribes form a monopoly. They are hiring their own. They are replacing more senior folks. Government is not doing what is necessary to protect us.

it is not only about layoff in 2023. It is about the continuous tiny layoff and moving force to India. Nobody trust on google's management.
