It seems like Knitwell Group is doing closures of certain stores across all brands but not massive store closures (like 100+), which is according to this article. https://www.thestreet.com/retail/72-year-old-mall-retailer-closing-more-stores-2026-ann-taylor-loft

WHBM alone has closed 32% of it's stores since 2024, WHBM went from 440 stores to 296 (296 was number mentioned on conference call for the district). A location that was number 1 for black friday sales is being closed down. Managers are being told upon layoff it's not store performance. This sounds like mass store closures to me. Chicosfas has also listed a 50% sale leaseback for their corporate offices in FL. It was listed shortly after the merger happened.
