Get ready. New comp is out..the exodus begins
@3rs In Massachusetts and a few other states anyone laid off will still be paid for accrued unused PTO. And the PTO time for exempt associates hasn’t changed either Not sure what PTO changes you’re referring to unless it’s just the new tracking in HRconnect
Everyone better start updating their resumes. It's a matter of time before the large layoffs start happening real soon.
RTO was announced and PTO policy changed on 1/6/26 so now if you get laid off you don’t get paid out your PTO- large layoffs are coming.
Rumor is that we’re trying to take out a unique type of loan which could mean we’re being prepared to be sold, the different divisions split up and only certain ones sold or Sycamore is taking as much from us as they can before we have to declare bankruptcy.
If 4 days RTO doesn’t generate enough layoffs, Corp will be back to all 5 in office by May.
Missed sales by $35M so yes, there will be layoffs. Question is if they will be slimy and cut people before bonus payout in April.
my guess - pure speculation - probably in the spring. they will see how many quit in the first few months and also how many that cut be cut due to not being compliant.
Of course. They are going enough people quit in the first quarter .
Of course, layoffs will occur. Staples is circling the drain, slowly and painfully dying.
Does a bear cr-p in the woods?
Yes The usual November layoffs were delayed Probably hoping RTO annoys enough people that will leave and reduce actual layoffs I’d expect them in mid January
The answer is yes the question is when and how many
