Thoughts? Any Fiserv layoffs? Any chatter, news or rumors?

@2z4 I was calling bs on Columbus being shut down but rereading the comment I replied to, it looks like I misunderstood…sounds like they mean in general. That’s my bad.
Layoffs are happening everywhere today but the Columbus office isn’t being shut down
For the DA that called BS, well guess what?? There are layoffs happening across the board right now.
Fiserv is also hiring plenty of people right now as well. They are hiring anyone with a pulse that puts AI in their resume. Seriously, not kidding.
@zs I call Bullsh!t…you’re probably the same person posting this over and over on every thread and never providing anything to back it up. Enjoy your new job you took and leave everyone else alone already
columbus is potentially q1, still being debated. focus is to eliminate areas holding back progress
They probably will call it "firing" rather than layoffs (which they are doing right now across all depts) because calling it a layoff will trigger a lot of legal issues with the board/share holder and also will not look good on the new CEO whose trying to look different from that old crow.
Shut down FiScam. Bilking associates for years
All of you whining saps should be fired immediately.
It will save us time and money and will actually help us do better.
@k0 Based on what? They’ve barely been there 18 months and have over 100 people (closer to 200) reporting 5 days a week
@m4 I have said the same thing for years. Way too many executives with very large salaries and not enough people on the ground doing the job and keeping clients happy. Eliminate a third of executives and I bet it goes unnoticed by our client base! Pour the money into the employees doing the work and see the huge payoff!
Fiserv continues to be a top-heavy company. If a VP reports to a VP, one of them should go. In my division, we have to have all this stupid dotted line reporting because we have run out of layers due to being so top heavy. Flatten the organization, eliminate 1/2 the VP's and above. Make them justify their existence. Why do I report to a VP who reports to one SVP who reports to one EVP.
columbus is likely shut down q2
They can accomplish this by moving you to Infinite. That way they keep youbworking in the same job for Fiserv but the accounting rules are satisfied. I jnow a couple of people they have done this to.
More should absolutely be laid off in order for the stock to take off.
