Looks like if Judge Casey Pitts grants the motion for Hold separate order on Monday, the sales day 1 program (go live scheduled for Jan 2) specifically the effort to combine both companies sales data into one tool would be immediately frozen. The companies would be legally prohibited from scrambling of the eggs. Merry Christmas.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co. can continue integrating Juniper Networks Inc. while a group of states challenge a settlement the companies reached with the Justice Department over antitrust concerns about the deal, a federal judge said Thursday.
“There hasn’t been an evidentiary showing that there is” a need for an order here, he said. There needs to be an “irreparable harm to competition” if HPE continues integrating the deal, Pitts said.

Jan 8 is the big day, no matter what, HPE will be crippled for 2026 - the question is just how badly.
Will they focus more directly on Mist in the settlement and make changes?
Dec 31 is the last day for the judge to rule on the proverbial egg scramble.
Sales day 1 is scheduled for January 2. If the judge does not issue the order prior to that, then the eggs are scrambled. This short week promises to be interesting.
The CEO has reassured not to worry about this at all & focus on integrating. The COO is tasked with making the Juniper immigrants a better person. Hopefully he will do that to the judge too.
The next couple of days promises to be very interesting. Let's see what the judge rules.
