We were told today that our rep of 20 years of working at Verizon was let go. What type of bull sh-t is this? I would expect this from SeaWorld but not a company like Verizon.

Yup the company let go of many good workers and kept many $hit birds. T
When the stock price goes in the toilet then you will know why.
Because they don’t care anymore.They kept most of the overpriced deadwood,VP’s,etc. that helped steer this company into the financial iceberg.
They threw the loyal hard working mates overboard. It’s not done yet. Just the fact they did this a week before Christmas should give you a clue how they care.
To those let go good luck, make the best of the holiday and God speed you to a hopefully better career and company.
