The company just announced selling the telco business to HCLTech. I would be jumping ship. If the company is politely saying that they don’t want this business anymore, then you might be worse off than at HCLTech.

@ge unlikely. the deal possibly revolves around people as much as IP. I was one of the earlier CTG batch, and TBH, it’s not been as bad as I initially thought. HPE give less of a ** than HCL

It's from a culture that regards responsibility diffusion and bullsh-t flooding as legit business conduct... Just look at DXC.

Any chance that some people are cut before moving to HCL because HCL doesn't want the (too old, too expensive, not having the right skills, etc.)?
Verizon did the same thing with its business org, called it a partnership.. 3000 Vz went to HCL, and one year later they are all gone. HCL is the most smoke and mirrors company.
