Rumors have it that very few people took the VSP. Do anyone knows if there might be layoffs coming in early 2026 with the low oil price environment? What are you hearing from your end?

BH and WB know what will happen to this company. What don’t you ask them. Act quickly because WB won’t be around much longer until he goes emeritus status at the company.
Due to Oil price, I heard that Feb will be brutal. Take the VSP if you can. If not, learn how to spell Chevron.

@fm you should’ve said around the corner and down the road in the first place. Now I have to start all over again. While I am at it, I will check in the bushes and under the stones. You never know these days.

I've heard that's where all layoffs, reorgs and the likes are.

I checked the street and reviewed all the rumors. Nothing definite. Where else can we look?
If you’re in your early sixties the VSP might make a lot of sense. If you’re over 65 it does makes a lot of sense. Not really a bunch of people at OXY over 65.
You would be a fool to not take the VSP if you are older than 66.
Do you really think someone posting on this website has inside information on possible layoffs in the near future? If you’re just looking for something to make you feel better, I can promise you there are no layoffs in the future and your job is completely secure. Good times are ahead. Rest easy.
Smart money is on a COC in 2026.
