Sp--k Layoffs?

I have a sinking feeling that a big layoff is coming to Splunk.

@fy CR is chairman of the board. Do you think he would hold himself accountable? I don’t.

Splunk was worth only $4-5B

Many should be held accountable including the CEO if revenues are not going up in splunk software division.

If they don’t deliver the profits or profits were inflated, then surgically many will be removed.

do they actually do anything cause its impossible to get anyone of the experts to help any of our customers develop their deployments. no way this scales without someone stepping up and helping.

Besides early Splunk investors, I am struggling to see who benefitted from this disastrous acquisition.

Not Splunk employees. Not Cisco employees. Not Cisco shareholders. Not customers.

Feel bad for current Splunk employees in particular, I cannot think of my way this has benefitted them

Splunk purge is here, no doubt. Cisco gives only so much time after an acquisition before breaking it apart, and throw away the useless pieces. Harder now with AI taking over.

The fat will continue being trimmed until everything useful has been appropriated. Why do you specifically say this?
