I’m curious if Optum will adjust severance again soon and if there’s any way to know that? Those updates sometimes come out of nowhere, but they’re too big a deal to just learn about them when the actual layoffs happen.

Are you suggesting the same company that is effectively giving all of its employees a 1% pay cut via the upcoming 1% reduction in its 401K match cares so little about their reputation that they'd get stingy with their severance pay formula?

Then again, the severance package is less of a handout than a bribe to go away. So maybe it depends on how many leave just because of denied promotions, substandard pay, cr-ppy working conditions and the id--tic RTO.
