Net Zero Hiring?

Anyone heard about net zero hiring freeze or have any info? Heard a rumor about not being able to hire anyone new unless someone leaves your team. Headcount will stay flat?

Yes I have heard of that, head count will stay flat for 2023 but we will be allowed to backfill. Our leadership team has been told no lay offs though.

Please do not work more than they pay you. No one goes to a restaurant pays for a sandwich, and expects 3 sandwiches plus sides large drinks etc..etc.for the price of a sandwich. Or a general contractor giving you an extra bedroom to show his worth..? That's american loony. And instead of calling your manager a manager, call them your master. It's not "on boarding" it's indentured integration.

Yep, was told that even if we lost people there is no potential of hiring until 2023.

The area I have direct oversight of will have a hiring freeze until late Q1.
