I have another friend that is going to accelera and after all the stuff I have read and the financials from last fall, I kinda think that the people being hired are the "temp staff" until they final ends it.

Why wait for the company to decide your faith.
If you have no expectation of a significant package like in GUA, Spain; leave. Many employers are waiting and will gladly pay a bit more to compensate for the few K cmi pays.
Places like Belgium; find another place of employment and rather than resign and loose the severance package, get a good lawyer and threaten to sue LT for harassment and creating a toxic work environment under BE law. You'll be gone in 2 weeks with full pay.

The team handling the biggest project ever was recently terminated, maybe ongoing at this time. Much to the dislike of the end user as project apparently is nearing a critical phase, now with no resources.
Spain assembly plant is seeing people walking out in droves, soon nobody left to build uni5s for the project.

Cummins just wants out, asap and at any cost.

@pz absolutely true. Management never understood the market, the customer or the industry. Automobile experience is worthless and the ones pushing for that are rolling back into Cummins.
A 3 billion cluster F.

Accelera is over and done. Only service teams remain from 2027.
Given that the Hylyzers don't work, these people have job security for the next 10 years.

I've heard of 11 people RIF'd from Accelera Current Product and Powertrain. Also another 2 people moved from Accelera to EBU. Unsure if there are others, or when they will be done. New org charts won't be announced until mid or late Jan.

@pz And they wonder why it seems like the company is chasing its own tail and has such a bad reputation in the industry. To many people protecting their own kingdom and when it goes bad they use favors and such to protect them. When in reality they should have been let go. Also are they going to pull the plug at Accelera.

A few people were let go today in the current product department completely unexpected.

Yep, all the Hylyzer business was dissolved, just a handful of people in stacks and commissioning remain. A lot of high ups were put into different roles around the business. For how big of a cluster F this was for the last 3 years its insane the protection these high ups get for running such a bad start up business.

In the Brian Wilson update today, he said some people would be separated, and those actions completed by the end of this year. No number or % was given, he only said something to the effect of "not too many". Whatever that means. The prior respondent, made it seem like those reductions started today? I wasn't aware of that.
