Thread regarding Accenture layoffs

Could it be possible that we’ll actually get some peace and quiet ahead of the holidays?

I haven’t heard any new rumors about imminent layoffs. Have you?

If there is anyone reading this that is in that 30 day period where you have already been laid off and are allowed to look for work, depending on how many days you have left in that window, if you find a new job internally and the start date is not until Jan, take vacation immediately until your start date. And do not tell HR you got a new offer, You can't leave a gap in time where you've accepted an offer to start next year and are still in that window. it's like being a sitting duck and they will do all they can to undermine that offer. You need to be tight lipped - especially if you are NOT a person of color. HR will come after that 'open' position with their full might and try to bump you out of it. You need to be off line, start that new job in the new year, and then it will be much harder for them to do that once you have started. Share this with anyone you know at Accenture that may be in this position. Especially if they are over 40, remote worker, etc.
