The brain drain has hurt Intel’s ability to recover from years of management malfeasance and neglect. Instead of continuing to pay highly skilled and knowledgeable people to leave, the C-level ought to be paying to poach and hire the best and the brightest in the industry. At the same time, they should be thinning the ranks of ineffective management, flattening the management structure, and empowering engineers to succeed.
There’s little hope this can happen, though. It’s sad to see the downfall of a once great company.
Good no telemetrics or forced cloud computing anymore. F MS, iOS, and Droid ops. Linux open source is the future.
Good decision
@DW I bet you did something useful then, that's probably why you are commenting anonymously on this thread, not even famous unlike gregg for his work
One mo--n Markus hired another mo--n Gregg...that is all. Guy did not do anything except enjoy the weather in Australia and pick up a fat paycheck. Good riddance!

Who?
If Brenden Gregg worked there, it's plausible that Intel was a good place to work for.
Key term "WAS"
Oh no! Anyway . . .
Only the id--ts are left, the talents are being pushed out secretly.

He took a really big package.
So what! There are other smart people in the world. AI is smarter and he can be replaced, just like the rest of us. If they choose to leave, good luck finding a job and shut the door on you way out.
