What did the board do these oast years? Allow the worst decisions. How they fixed it? Unload 13+ of the employees 🤬 - oh, and come to sip a cuppa coffe in front of every employee

@a6 prime example. Everyone knew the pandemic was coming. Google, MSFT, Zoom, etc all had video conference ready some embedded. What did VZ do? Pay $500M for Blue Jeans in April after everyone already had their solution. Now we have to sell against the competition it and try to displace it. 3 years later we got rid of it like Yahoo, AOL, etc

@a4 i agree w the OP - Vz has been tone-deaf to the market. The network has no longer being our main asset - competition got great at it - and pushed us out w their pricing. We have always being very slow to react.

OP, if it's such easy work, why not become a board member? Or become CEO? My guess is you will probably never even be a band 5, and you will blame everything on external forces as to why.
