SVP does not do detailed work, just listen to report. So Lo will not release much to Intel. Only the lower 2 levels of working engineers know secrets.
It's Donald Trump's companyy .. ask him.
TSMC has to sue Lo, otherwise, it will become a default culture in Intel to keep on stealing technologies.
Intel needs to steal and rob a lot more to make the ends meet. Lo is just a starting point.
Intel and the US should feel deeply ashamed to have to steal from a company from the small island that is not recognized as a country by most to survive.

When Roger Lo left Intel joined TSMC, and he was knowing much of Intel secrets. US government did not prosecute him.
It is hard to believe what Taiwanese government did to Roger Lo. Basically, they are saying Lo, you are guilty without trial, before Lo proves himself Innocent. It is not American value. No Americans would ever want to work for TSMC.
TSMC's actions is a symbolic move. The Taiwanese government would not confiscate Lo's asset because they are afraid of Trump. Trump will threaten Taiwanese government the same way he threaten TSMC. If you do not invest in America, he will put 100% tariff on all TSMC chips.
Nobody cares!
