Stock price seems pretty flat…does the market have confidence in the new era at Verizon?

I think the new CEO came up with the lay off idea to minimize the negative impact of losing subscribers and changing CEO. that's it. its all bs.
@b3 we need cuts/buyout on the union side like the one 25 or so years ago, offer the high pay a decent buyout. We really can be good lean. Our network is the best, the equipment is top notch. I think pricing hasn't been competitive in a very long time and marketing dropped the ball for quick overpriced fixes. I always hated our customer service and never felt good after the call. This can be fixed and at these prices is must be.
@ax I hope you are right. I’ll dump my stock then.
@ax 45/46 it will take time but smart moves for once bu Verizon. Once it moves up it should start going faster with the dividend backing it
Nearing 50 by summer once reduction expenses clear
For every positive review I see for the strategy, I am seeing 5 negative ones.
Layoffs are a crutch not a growth strategy. The share price will rise if Wall Street sees indications of revenue or market share increasing. “I’m going to delight the customers” is a positive statement but they need to see evidence (net adds, revenue increase)
Wall Street loves chaos
