Leftover maybe, as it has been left outside of a merge one year ago.
Extort customers maybe not, as it looks like their customer base is composed of small and medium companies. The kind that can (more) easily migrate if they are presented with infamous licensing price raises.
I don't see any synergy with current CSG offer, and the fact that it will work as a distinct business unit seems to confirm that it is not an objective either. Probably an opportunistic financial operation. Which means that layoffs might follow the acquisition, as usual.
