I am a store buyer in the south region and I can no longer contact anybody in purchasing at our DC so this post might be correct
@10s yes please....many of our regional teams are inconsistent with how they hold store leadership and methods to standards..when half a-s performance and execution is allowed in region....and many of the purchasing and programming people especially in produce are incompetent...
SE region ?? Hopefully!
SSS gone
all of those who took corporate on-ramps over everyone's head at the store level to work w their besties at the bloated regional and global level (lol) but have no actual experience in grocery retail and have neither earned it nor deserve it have been let go. The socialism experiment may finally be coming to an end at wfm. Hiring people based on their identity is the best way to destroy your business from the inside and here is the proof. It's one of the original dei failed hippy business plans. Yeah you get to hire your unemployable friends but eventually you get left holding the bag while the competition flies right on by. I don't miss having that political ideology crammed down my throat goodbye fraudies
Yes
Are they going to get rid of all the hlllbillies?
lol
Well internal teams did a horrible job anyway so I don’t think it really matters because the AMZ people have zero to live up to.
WFM Accounting, IT, Marketing, Purchasing (both global and distribution) are being eliminated and replaced with AMZ teams
