Hi All - can anyone shed some light on pay grades? Which pay grade should you be at 5 years, 10 years and 15 years experience?

in some departments they’ll let you rot in g11 all the way until 140k and ride it all the way up with inflationary raises and a measly 16% target. saddle up folks you’re in for a real treat
I read at a 5th grade level. $215k
Grade 13 non petro and I make $190k
Do you own knee pads?
Just depends on the position and how well you’re advocated for by management. MRO is running as lean as possible and it’s why we’re seeing so many good people jump ship.
I left at grade 12 petrotech, +60% pay bump.
I left at grade 12 and was making around $125k in the land department. Making much more elsewhere.
G10 0-4 years
G11 3-8 years
G12 6-12 years
G13 9-xx years
G14 12-xx years
At 5 years, you’ll be grade 10. At 5-10 years grade 10 or 11. After 10 years it’s grade 11 or 12. A lot of this depends whether you’re a petrotech or not.
