RG was canned from the moment DS took over and moved him aside under HA.

This was posted earlier but TD somehow got the post deleted. See post on Q1 2023 layoffs with GSO and CS eluding to RG being RIF and with other in November but publicize that will be gone.

With remote work it's hard to know but just see who has been in meetings, reply to emails, and not.

RG initially was outside HA's org. Big mistake letting him go but shows the politics. SM keeps HA around, why? This is a JOKE. RG will probably end up at AWS where all the smart Teradata people go. The Vantage Data Lake is a joke too - "cloud native" 10 years late and shows Vintage Vantage is not cloud native. Put a fork in this mess.

Leave HA alone. It is not easy to be the most unprepared person at Teradata.

Snowflake Ki---r
RG single handed savior
DS vengeance
TDC iceberg

Y'all should make a Netflix documentary!

RG was punished by the ELT who were listening to the likes of DS and was stripped of all responsibilities at the end of 2021 and not given any role other than consultant jobs. This is after he single handedly created the new Teradata NextGen Cloud SaaS offering (or snowflake ki---r). His inner group consisted of smart tech folks ( sharp contrast to DS and ELT who are surrounded by yes-men).

Company (including TDC) are beyond just one or few folks, but his end is beginning of a downfall of TDC. Or at least a big block of TDC iceberg will break off shortly.

The vengeance of DS combined with his friendship at high places makes HA pretty shaky in the middle. She will be gone soon.

HA has a history of taking away successful projects from the people that made it happen and handing it over to her cronies who subsequently drive the projects into the ground. No doubt she was pulling the same stunt on RG which is why he left.

Didn't RG report to HA or was he really taking orders from DS? IMHI DS was the only leader at Airlift who was realistic about other customer needs for migration and data loading.

DS = TINO, thank you. I was wondering who y'all were referring to.

HA is safe unless she grows a spine or a Y chromosome.

I think anyone visiting this site knows an RG exit was orchestrated. DS is too insecure to keep RG around cuz

RG: led the next generation effort to hopefully save the company. Knows Teradata company and product like back of his hand. Has worked with the tech leaders in the company especially the next generation platform architects for decades. Knows and has personal relationships with many Teradata customers, and deeply understands their requirements and operations.

DS: leader in name only. Knows nothing about the platform, nor any of the customers. Teradata tech leaders barely know him and aren't very impressed. Has little to indicate he's qualified for the job, and knows it. Only qualification: he's pals with The Beav.

So of course DS stays, and RG gets the boot. Because it's Teradata!
