It's not implausible for half to be fired. Capone wants to cut as much costs as possible to recoup their costs. But I already see major red flags. Customers will close their capital ine discover cards because ihey're limited by who will accept them. Also, there will be a first class action lawsuit by consumers amd shareholders that the merger led to them being blocked as discover is not accepted everywhere particularly outside of US. This will tear Capone's heart out.
