I do not believe in this often mentioned "friends and family". It's a falsehood. I work at Ford in Model e and have never seen what is alleged here, happen in real life. We are all family in Ford as leadership has discussed at every Global Town Hall that has been held. Like others in this thread said, I don't even know what is being discussed.

I gave up on catching my manager whims. They say something, I smile, give them what they want, and do my work as best I can, but not for them. They don't understand the work. They don't listen.
Who do you work for? Who is your role model? Most likely or is not your manager or the company any more. Is it you, your colleagues, or a client? Do you take personal pride in your work?
