Just saw this movie and it’s about Verizon.
The gist of it is a company laying off employees and everyone is on the chopping block, even the ones who don’t expect it. And the ones who get let go get a small severance and struggle to find work.

@a6 it’s not HR making the decision it is the leader of the business. Don’t feel bad for the VP+. They get a great soft landing.
@a6 great movie, never knew what a gem it was. Watched and it parallels what’s happening to Verizon. HR arbitrarily selecting who goes next and even other execs are unaware if they are next.
I will make it a point to watch this
