Wild these positions we’re left untouched - some poor decisions have been made by this one impactful ones, but yet she still hold the job kind of wild that my director didn’t even have a call with us to say he was leaving Only to have no transparency of really what’s going on with this company but this one’s still kept their job

Our territory lost both our retail director AND our business rbsm

Seeing as both were well loved by the whole territory and didn’t have performance issues and they were opposite genders/ it looked to be totally random- unless it was that territory itself?

It was a big shock to us all- everyone’s wondering who’s coming in now

It never makes sense. A consulting firm analyzes the workforce and uses a formula to make certain they have a strong case if someone files a lawsuit. This is why leaders have very little say so on who is picked and why good employees get caught up in every one of these RIF's. They will never share the methodology.

Their formula is confusion and only they get it. Only few clarity I see were the obvious ones. In sales, it was pretty clear on performance or modules that were not working, etc . Ops the programs got eliminated so did the people working on them. But after that, it is all over the place. If there was duplication who stayed who went? Also, age and tenure didn't make sense which I guess is a good team. We lost someone that has been here for 19 years, we lost our manager who was extremely smart young and been w VZ for 6 years. We are currently leaderless. It didn't look like it mattered young or older everyone was available to get rif and that could be by design to get the people in line or quit.

I wish they would tell us why certain people were let go. Makes no sense high performers and tenured people were let go. Is there some type of conversation that was had or is it just pick employee ids on spreadsheet at random.
