Been a loyal NTAP employee for over a decade. I was told to burn my PTO in exchange for all the time off that i wanted. Then you lay me off and keep the $20k that I would have had coming to me if you had not told me to use it ASAP. So glad to not be working for this company anymore, how awful you are to the people that once made you great. What a terrible leadership team that is now in charge of a once great company. Keep sc--wing your employees and see how that works out for you in the very near future........

@OP Don' t need PTO if you have no job. I'm sure A$6 K_essers like R0b and G4vin are doing great...........
GK consistently demonstrates a lack of concern for employees, deflecting responsibility and blaming others for the poor decisions he has made. It may be time for the board to recognize this reality and consider replacing both him and selfie boy. Their leadership failures are the primary reason the company is stagnating—there is no real investment in people, no long-term vision, just constant pursuit of superficial “quick wins.” Millions are being spent on outside consultants who merely echo back what GK wants to hear, rather than driving meaningful change.
The company should appoint a genuine Chief People Officer—someone with expertise in people and culture—not an unethical lawyer merely posing as one.
@OP Is this really happening at NetApp? Oh my, it might be legal but what a nice way to have your employees hate you!!
Anyone loyal to NetApp is stupid. Stupid people should be fired.
"Been a loyal NTAP employee" ... that was your first mistake. Look, NTAP has been a toxic sh1thole ever since Kurian took over. Everyone knew it. Layoffs every quarter. Why did you stay so long?
