Medtronic (MDT) stock jumped early Tuesday after the medical products maker reported adjusted earnings of $1.36 per share on $8.96 billion in third-quarter sales.
On average, analysts called for $1.31 earnings per share and $8.87 billion in sales.

@5ry Ardian is all good news and no sales. The other highlights are correct.
You can thank a few products - Micra AV2 and VR2, EV-ICD, RDN, and the CAS Portfolio (Affera and Pulse Select). Outside of a few things in diabetes and neuromod, there is not a lot of positive. These things are the only glue holding this together. There are key technical people that the company should be thanking - but I am guessing we will get more “we have been patient and knew this was coming” quotes.
Kudos to those who have pressed so hard for the above mentioned products. There is still a load of technical talent (underpaid BTW) at Medtronic. If the cronies and tirle chasers could get out if the way for a bit, the company could make a comeback. Let the technical and marketing people work and stay out if their way.
