12/19 for some
WARN Act is applies at the state level. Last day depends if a WARN needs to be filed. If only 40 people in one state are let go, no WARN filing the day the rif is done.
@a9 why 1/20 for some? Should be 1/20 for all that are RIF’d per the federal WARN Act. Even if your state does not have its own version of the WARN Act, VZ must comply with the federal WARN Act which is 60 days notice.
It will be 1/20 for most because of federal WARN minimums
Fed Warn min is 60 days
@a4 end of the pay period 26 is 12/20
It would probably be Jan 30th with 60 days notice. The company is usually more generous than they need to be. Typical it’s usually bare minimum 6 weeks or 30 business days
It would be the 25th. The end of last pay period in December, it’s alarming how clueless the trolls are on this sub.
12/20 is what I heard...as late as before 12/31 so that cost reduction can be reflected in the earning call next year...it's all about stock price
@a1 this sux. Why were all the past RIF given so much more time on the books?
@OP I’ve seen 12/20 and 12/31 but no idea. Guess we’ll find out on Thursday
