I'm talking about laptops, cell phones, etc.
Are laid off people's devices locked up and wiped out the day of? Or are laid off employees still considered employees until the end of the year with limited access to their devices?

Would also suggest making sure your Benefits Connection sign ons are working if you haven't signed on in awhile AND that you can sign on from a personal PC at home
@a5 I guess you don't understand what was said. Also, you if don't understand what you own vs Verizon, you should be gone
Thank you. What about a VZ-owned cell phone?
Your work equipment, ID badge, etc. must be returned typically your last day if you are an in-office worker or shipped back (company will send necessary shipping boxes) if you are a remote worker. I was RIFd 1st Q 2025 and shipped mine back the week before my last day.
You should immediately, now before notification, move anything personal that may be on your laptop to an external hard drive because that capability will be removed very soon after notification.
They allow you to retain things between notification and off boarding so you can search for new work (internal/external) and transition your work to others picking it up. They usually don’t remove access to systems, etc. but that has been done depending on the work your org does.
