United and Southwest are the worst airlines by far. Best to avoid.

Let me cross United off the list of airlines I’ll fly on.

United might have placed this order to get the bonus gift that get delivered within each 787. Including left-over tools, stick of gum, liquid bottles all left behind the interior panel. Lol

Heard same from AZ. Headed to FAA myself. Maybe Boeing can get COMAC to build these airplanes as no chance of profit like every other contract.

Right, no experienced Boeing product engineers to be found anymore. Last few soon departed to save their pensions. Lynn Hopper Thomas Flynn frantically hiring people from Brazil, India, Ukraine in continued failed attempt to address the sad reality of their failed Boeing strategy of past 20 years. Orders won't become deliveries.

Yeah if you google Boeing stock you see all these good news stories how it is undervalued by 40% and good times are coming their way. Stark difference from what you hear and see if you work here. This place like a funeral in cold rain.

Boeing offered these airplanes at discounts far below what they could be manufactured for in similar fashion to last year's SW order. Airbus is in fine shape and doesn't need to sell airplanes at a loss to create an impression they are still viable. Heard this from a departing Boeing S&M director. These orders will never become deliveries.

Boeing was fortunate that airbus cannot deliver in time for the demand of their aircraft so Boeing is able to grab a few orders until airbus gets their production ramped up.

After airbus gets their production ramped up and almost doubled, Boeing aircraft orders will be about half what they are now.

Yeah, Congress and FAA never do right thing when it comes to Boeing and safety. It's all about the money and one big scam. I could see United declaring bankruptcy and getting a government handout too...and then transition to better Airbus airplanes that will actually be delivered.

The corrupt lawless insurrectionists will soon control House so Boeing will soon be getting a 737Max unsafe crew alert system extension and fed bailout money with no strings attached.

Very few experienced people on the line. The supervisors are clueless too. Lots of delays, rework and defects that should get reported and addressed but that doesn't happen either. Supply chain is just a convenient excuse and lie. If not for all the planes sitting around here for years, rates would be much less. Total joke and stock scam for the upperty ups.

Last earnings call, Dave/Brian said they're barely able to manage building 737's at rate 21 a month. Supply chain and labor issues have everything log-jammed for the foreseeable future. Making a big hoopla about this order announcement feels like smoke and mirrors to bump the stock price up when they KNOW they can't even produce the darn things at the rates needed.

People pondering nonfactual thoughts, while we build the best 787's. Unless you work on site, you cant possible know anything about whats being done or built. The ones that know arent going to tell you.

Beyond bizarre that anyone could think Boeing is somehow on the mend. But that's what the stock pundits are writing and they clearly don't know what is going on inside Boeing. Got my escape plan locked down and will be leaving shortly after the holidays...but don't tell my clueless boss!

United stock nose dived like 737Max after this announcement so some investors apparently crossed United off their list too. Yeah, I don't ever see these orders turning into deliveries and revenue either. Just more Boeing stock hype to raise Boeing stock price. Stock hype and lack of execution and ethics is what led to 737Max nose dives.

Like the other astute person wrote in the previous $80 billion defense contract loss:

"Does anyone actually believe Boeing will be able to build any of these airplanes that desperate Boeing airliners have ordered in recent years? Seems like the FAA must be close to terminating their production permit given all the shenanigans happening on their production line. It's not like there is a capable workforce at Boeing that can do this stuff anymore or at least not in a professional and competent manner. I also suspect that Boeing leadership will soon bail out as soon as stock price gets high enough. Just seems like a huge scam."
