Thread regarding Cisco Systems Inc. layoffs

Cisco Jasper has too many management levels

Many directors and senior managers are not really doing anything meaningful. The Cisco Jasper management is the worse in whole Cisco.

CISCO IOT platform? is it even relevant in the industry? AI listed it as "other notable platform"

Cisco IoT Control Center: Ranks highly as a connectivity management platform (CMP), excelling in security and managing large fleets of connected devices, especially for mobile network operators.

How much those were/are true?

Everywhere in Cisco has too much management.

Very common for me to be in a meeting of twenty or so people, and more than half make no real contributions other than watching other people work, talking about it, or telling someone else about it.

These folks are cooked once they are pushed out of Cisco. Not many companies are looking to add pure middle management at this point.
