There is more information about this mass layoff on every news website. Reporting to work as well as all internal websites is like crickets, no information - like nothing is happening. Next time please let the employees know they are getting let go before it hits the news. This suspense is ki-ling me - Do I stay or do I go, just tell us already who is being affected.

Just ask your supervisor. If your supervisor tells you he cannot share due to confidentiality, it is probably right.

If your supervisor tells you he or she doesn’t know anything, that’s definitely something to be proud of since your supervisor is likely very strong and fully capable of challenging leadership and thus leadership is afraid and did not get your supervisor involved and therefore your supervisor has no information or knowledge. This generally means your team and your supervisor is very strong and safe but this time nobody is going to be off the tabl

@OP Yes this was executed in a terrible way. During the speech don’t mention 11/20 at all, or mention it and immediately after let those affected know the details.

Breathe, relax, give it to your God, and plan for the worst. The sooner you find acceptance, the better. We are all processing it. Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Sadness, Acceptance are all part of the process, in no particular order. You are not alone. They probably signed confidentiality agreements. or they don't know. And remember, the same sc-mbags that got us to this part in the trail, are the same ones RIFing us...15000 of us, and our kids.
