Not many Engineers will be laid off. Engineers have been hit hard in previous layoff. Engineering especially first line personnel have been told that they will be sent to the Union areas if there is a union strike and there is presently a training program being prepared. Verizon will need all the engineers they presently have. When the union situation is resolved then first line engineers will be on the chopping block again. If a non union employee refuses to go the northeast they will be terminated. Had to find a way to have workers against workers.......
No one is safe. It's that simple. Entire organizations are being cut. You haven't read any posts here. It doesn't matter your title or if you're remote. O ly the union members are safe from this for now.
Nope. I was let go last December. No luck finding a comparable job so far. I’m door dashing now.
