He'll land just fine. He may even follow his former Chief Accounting Officer, Johnbull Okpara, who left Citi for Bank of America.

People aren't kind on this site because it's full of to trolls and inaccurate information. You can't come on here and just say "layoffs on Monday", drop a grenade in the room and walk off with no details. That's fear mongering. Monday came and went and crickets. Now if you have detailed information, share it. Not sharing is what's unkind. Again, just throwing a grenade in the room and walking off.

I just got word today that I'm supposed to select people from my team to cut in December. If people were kinder on this site, I would share what function, but I'm not going to. It was totally unexpected and it just really shows anything can happen at anytime.

@q3 Yep. Monday came and went. No layoffs. Should not be allowed to post layoff alarms if you can't provide details. There won't be any more layoffs until 2026. The budget is baked.

If you have details, lets have them. If you have details but can’t share, why say anything at all? You might as well have said “Something, somewhere is going to happen sometime.”
